The first semester we were given the task of showing art on the body. All the students were given white bed linen for this. Nothing else...
My idea came from my mother. She had to have knee surgery and recently got a new knee joint. It was very sad when I heard that because I couldn't be with her... But I turned the situation into my new project and asked myself a few questions. “What if humanity slowly wanted to voluntarily transform itself into a cyborg?”, “What would they look like in the future?”, “Is there even such a thing as a cyborg today?” I was interested in science fiction). And that's how my first outfit came about. I called it “The Cyborg” and it also became my first fashion show opening at the FDI.
